Hall of Fame

The Wise County WBA started its Hall of Fame in 2000. Candidates may be nominated as potential "Hall of Fame's" by their peers, with the Board of Directors giving final approval

There are two (2) categories for induction into the "Hall of Fame": Superior Performance and Meritorious.

Hall of Famer

The Requirements for Superior Performance are:
  1. The candidate must have bowled in five (5) local tournaments ( unless illness or injury shortened her participation ).
  2. The candidate must have received local recognition for bowling ability.
  3. The candidate must have an outstanding record in bowling competition on the local level.

The requirement for Meritorious Service is that the candidate must have distinguished herself through outstanding service to the sport of bowling over a period of years on the local level by contributing to bowling`s general welfare and progress through interest, service, and promotion.

 

Two members of the Wise County Women Bowling Association were inducted into their Hall of Fame. Congratulations to these members for their contribution to our sport and their achievements!
